thesocratespot: AAUW : Chapter LXXXIIV : Theory of Trizophenia - II

Taking forward the theory , said Annie,

She was talking to Daniel.

Discussing an emerging stream of thought that she had defined as Trizophrenia.

The two were meeting after a long hiatus, both somehow drifted into their own individual realms - Daniel, went reclusive, living inside remote islands, travelling discreet and practicing the art of silence, fervent attempts by friends went futile, making him to talk or correspond or communicate became impossible and that's why Annie was excited to meet him when he called her after such a long time, she was so overwhelmingly surprised by the call.

Daniel looked pale, drained of blood and flesh - he was just bones and skin, his hair had become thin and his dents betrayed signs of being out of proteins. But he retained his laugh, his intellect was intact and despite his love of staying reclusive he hardly bothered moralising Annie when she ordered for the tow of them.

Annie ordered Vodka and Daniel preferred Bourbon. And that renewed a long lost friendship.

A few drinks and Annie and Daniel were immersed in their debate - Annie was saying

The

  1. Cosmos
  2. Nature
&

      3. Human life

are mutually exclusive, any semblance of symbiosis are  all merely mathematical , each exist without the others overt dictatorship.

Daniel smiled, a wry smile and responded with an OK, shifted his posture a bit, bent closer to Annie holding his drink in his hand and looking deep into Annie's eyes asked -

If human's are exclusive to nature and have symbiotic connection , how do you think we breath ? why are we dependent on nature for food? Why are we imprisoned by all acts of nature ?

Annie was ready to retort - listen Danny, micro level dependencies aren't what I'm referring to, a fish living inside water is imprisoned by water, accepted but nothing stops the fish from jumping out and die. So, the independency I'm referring to is at a macro level - let me list my questions to you :

  1. How much does the cosmos care about the Universe ?
  2. How much does Nature care about life on earth ?
  3. How much do you care about the cosmos or nature ?
In your everyday routine ? you just walk, run, talk. So does nature and so the cosmos. All 3 are so deeply immersed in their own purpose - neither really cares for the other, in fact no such thing exists, this mutual dependency - dependency is a default corollary but it isn't proof  of anything symbiotic.

The cosmos , the nature and life on earth have evolved on their own. Neither has created the other, neither really is committed to the others survival. In terms of power equation, I feel probably Nature is more autonomous and maybe life is the weakest in terms of autonomy - but none really needs to take responsibility for the other.

Are you saying, Daniel asked absent mindedly , that the planets and the universal zodiac just happened to align themselves due to some default energy known as gravitation ? that the cosmos is not even aware that such a thing exists ? and nature, really does not know its own elements ? part of it being oxygen that we breath ? or a fish or a bird or a worm thrives on?

Annie looked at him with a twinkle in her eyes and said yes

And drowned her glass of Vodka.
